Import Summary
MyBook — Your Portfolio Command Center
MyBook continuously monitors every carrier you track. When something changes — a new crash, an insurance cancellation, a risk score drop — you see it here first, before your competition.
Getting Started
Add carriers by searching in the Risk Engine and clicking "Save Result", or use Import to bulk-add from a CSV or Excel file.
Categorize each carrier using the Category dropdown: Customer (current accounts), Prospect (leads you're pursuing), Renewal (upcoming renewals), or Watchlist (carriers to monitor for risk).
Refresh at any time to pull the latest data. Changes are detected automatically against the baseline set when you first saved or last reset the carrier.
What Gets Monitored
MyBook tracks key metrics across four domains:
- New crashes reported
- Risk score changes (drops & improvements)
- Authority revocations
- Out-of-service orders
- Authority status changes (Active/Inactive)
- New violations recorded
- New inspections
- Driver OOS rate increases (>2%)
- Vehicle OOS rate increases (>2%)
- Insurer added or dropped
- Policy count changes (added or removed)
- Fleet size changes (power units)
Understanding Change Badges
Actions
Reset All — Acknowledges all changes across every tracked carrier at once and resets all baselines to today's values.
Reset — Acknowledges changes for a single carrier and resets its baseline.
View — Opens the full Risk Engine profile for deep analysis and underwriting review.
Delete — Stops tracking this carrier. You can re-add it anytime.
Daily Email Alerts
Every morning at 8:00 AM CST, CarrierMetric checks all your tracked carriers for changes. If anything changed overnight, you receive a single consolidated email with:
- Summary stats — action needed, review, and monitor counts at the top
- Priority-grouped carrier blocks (highest severity first)
- Actionable descriptions (e.g., "Risk score dropped sharply" or "New crash reported")
- Direct "View Risk Profile" link per carrier
Available on Scale and Trial plans. Manage preferences in your account settings.
Pro Tips
- Bulk import your book — Upload a CSV or Excel file with DOT numbers to add your entire portfolio at once.
- Use categories strategically — Tag carriers as "Renewal" 90 days before expiration, then watch for insurance activity signals.
- Use "Reset All" after reviewing your morning email — Clears all badges so tomorrow's changes stand out fresh.
- Watch for red badges on customers — A crash or risk score drop on a current customer is an immediate retention conversation.
